Assessment
Your insurer contacts us to arrange an assessment of the damage you have suffered and requests a report on our findings. We will arrange a time and a date convenient for you. Our team will complete a detailed report which will include photos and cost estimate to repair or replace the damaged components. This report will be submitted to your insurer. In some circumstances, Macbuild may need to advise your insurer to carry out a specialist assessment. We will advise you if this is the case.
Approval
Your insurer’s Claim’s department will assess the reported damage and cost of repairs against your policy coverage. Once your claim is approved, Macbuild will send you documentation which includes the scope of works and a request for your authority to proceed.
Repair
After we receive your authority to proceed and any applicable excess, Macbuild will be in contact with you to setup commencement of your repairs. Should any unforeseen damages be discovered during the repair process, Macbuild will submit a variation to your insurer for consideration if necessary.
